Mattie Beatrice Winstead, 89, of Olive Branch, MS died peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James P. Winstead; four children: James (Maureen) Winstead, Paul (Sheila) Winstead, Judy Harbin, and Pat Mahoney; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Dorothy Leopard and Mary Allen. "Bea" was born in Linwood, Mississippi to J.C. and Elmerene Shepherd. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Jack Shepherd, Herschel Shepherd, Herbert Shepherd, and Allen Shepherd; and one great-granddaughter, McKenzie Mahoney. She was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church of Southaven. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Sunday, November 13th, with funeral services at 10:00 Monday. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South on Holmes Rd. in Memphis.
