Maudie Juanita Dempsey, 89, passed away on March 14, 2019 in Memphis, TN.  She was a member of Forestview Church of Christ.  Mrs. Dempsey was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dempsey; her parents; and seven siblings.  Left to cherish her memory are her children:  Debbie (Bill) Pratt of Searcy, AR, Mary (Barney) Locke of Memphis, TN, and John (Missy) Dempsey of Elkins, AR; a sister, Wanda Berggren; and one brother, Talmidge LeMay.  She has been blessed with seven grandchildren:  Becky McCown, Molly Daily, Andrew Pratt, Erin Fletcher, Anna Hudson, Sarah Neal, and Michael Plemmons; twelve great grandchildren: Ethan and Braden McCown, Scott and Ella Daily, Colten, Davis and Branch Pratt, Remi Fletcher, Joey Plemmons, Emma and Ellie Hudson, and Rowan Neal.  Visitation with her family will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, 1:00-2:00 p.m., with her funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Rd.  901-382-1000
