Mavis Corinne Byars Blair Howell, 81, died April 16, 2013. Mrs. Howell was retired from Memphis Frosted Foods and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by James Blair, husband, Norman Howell, husband; Betty Sue Adams, daughter; her sons, Roy Blair and Ray Blair; Tammy White, granddaughter, Bobbie Kay Noe, granddaughter, Tonya Tilly, granddaughter. She leaves three daughters, Linda Clark (Thomas) of Byhalia, MS, Ann McNabb (Leon) of Somerville, TN, Caroline Pitts of Sparta, TN; son, Hoss Howell (Virginia) of Senatobia, MS; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. To all her grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren she was lovingly known as "Big Mama". Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, followed by services and burial at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park South.
