Max Dry Burleson, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 9, 2016. Max was born in Albemarle, NC in 1933 and has lived in Memphis most his life. He was the owner and President of Truth Inc. Max was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Donna Shaffer Burleson. He leaves three children, Jean Elam (Robert), Linda Alsup (Ed), Robert Burleson; seven grandchildren, Duncan, Kate, Amy, and Ethan Alsup; Jon, Julie, and Jeannie Burleson. He also leaves one great granddaughter, Audrey Alsup. Max will be missed by many wonderful friends and caregivers at Kirby Pines Retirement Community. A memorial service will be held at Kirby Pines at a later date.
