Max N. McMullin, 89, of Germantown, TN passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Methodist Hospital, Germantown. Max was a graduate of Central High School in Memphis. He was first to receive a full scholarship for basketball at Ole Miss and there he went on to receive his BA and completed his MA degree in 1950. He also played with the All Memphis basketball team. Max was a U.S. Army and Air Force Veteran. During his career he worked for Chicago and Southern Air Lines. He retired after 37 years with Delta Air Lines. Max was a member of St. Mark''s United Methodist Church in Memphis.
His wife, Mary McMullin of 50 years preceded him in death and also his daughter, Marilyn Daniel. He leaves his wife of 11 years, Hye Cha McMullin; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 8 at Korean Church of Christ in Collierville with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
