Maxine Hardy Greer, age 89, beloved Mother and Granny, went to be with her Jesus in the early
morning hours of December 9, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Maxine was a long time member of Central Church. She loved the Lord and her family, and it was her
life's mission that everyone in her family know and love Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Greer, son Gary McFarland, and sister Ruth Dosenczuk.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald McFarland (Donna), Kip Greer (Debbie), and her daughter, Peggy
Moore Smith (Johnny), and 13 grandchildren, Scott McFarland (Jenny), Kelly Manzo (Hunter), Andy
McFarland (Krista), Rebecca Kohout (Patrick), Josh McFarland, Jeremy McFarland (Chelie), Justin
McFarland (Jennifer), Brad Greer (Angel), Dan Greer (Dana), Kristy Brooks (Chris), Brennan Moore,
Lauren Ruddle (Cam), Christian Moore, and 13 great grandchildren.

A graveside service to be held Saturday, December 19 at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill South.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, The
Veterans Administration, or your favorite charity.
