Nesbit - Maxine May Hughes, 75, of Nesbit, MS, loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18 at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Hughes is retired from Mid-South Pump and had worked for Max Brezeal DDS. She is a faithful member of Longview Heights and in the Faith Sunday School Class and in the Shawl Ministry. Maxine is preceded in death by her first husband, J.W. May. She leaves her husband of 24 years, Robert L. Hughes; three children: Mark May (Suzanne) of Atoka, TN, Sandy Armour (Gary) of Southaven and Kim Jenkins (Robbie) of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren: Josh and Joey Armour of Southaven, Lindsey Jenkins and Bryce Jenkins (Allison) of Tallahassee, FL.
