Melba J. Smith, 72, of Olive Branch, MS died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was a homemaker and a member of Red Banks Baptist Church where she was a past Sunday School Director. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Olan "Buddy" Smith, and is survived by her father, William M. Lindsey of Southaven, MS; sisters, Rae Austin of Brandon, MS, Kathy Chisholm of McComb, MS and her brother, Dan Jones also of McComb, MS. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Howell and her brother, William "Pete" Neal Lindsey. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 with services to follow at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
