Melva Larel Cochran, 87, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. The widow of James A. Cochran, she is survived by her son, Richard Williams (Claudette), of Southaven; a granddaughter, Rhonda Williams; two sisters, Pam Moore; Arlene Santes; and two brothers, Frank Morton and Lonnie Morten. She was a member of Wells Station Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1-2 pm, Wednesday, followed by her funeral service at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown.
