Melva Turnbow Rouse Burnett, 93, of Memphis, TN, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.  Ms. Burnett was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Earnest and Fannie Turnbow. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy and brother, Buddy.

Melva leaves her children: James Rouse (Debbie) of Southaven, Frank Rouse (Nancy) of Cordova and Gerald Rouse (Ellen) also of Cordova; eight grandchildren: Lisa Canon (David) of Memphis, Jamie Rouse (Katie) of Heber Springs, AR, Frank Rouse, Jr. (Heather) of Memphis, Brian Rouse of Gillette, WY, William Rouse of Cordova, Becky Larsen (Roy Anders) of Memphis, Carrie DeLaTorre of Memphis and Rusty Rouse also of Memphis; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18 at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
