Melvin "Jack" M. Billings, Sr., 67, of Bartlett, TN, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his home. He was retired from the G.E. Memphis Lamp Plant, was a Baptist and an avid C.B. Operator. Mr. Billings is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda Billings; sons, Melvin M. Billings, Jr. (Kristi) of Brighton, TN; and William "Jay" Billings (Christy) of Memphis; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 A.M., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
