In Loving Memory
Michael Francis Bremner, 45, of Bartlett, TN died Friday, August 9, 2013 with his family by his side. Michael "Francis" was born July 11, 1968 in Hutchinson, KS. Even though Francis'' childhood was filled with hardships, he managed to overcome his obstacles and live a life of service. Francis spent his formative years living in foster homes provided by the Haydels and the Floyds. Francis joined the United States Army in 1988 and served in Operation Desert Storm. He met his wife Pat while serving in the Army. After completing eight years of active duty service, Francis finished his tour of duty with the Army and moved his family to Wisconsin. He worked as an OTR truck driver until moving to Memphis in 1998. He joined the Memphis Police Department in January of 1998 and worked as a patrol officer assigned to the Tillman Precinct. Francis loved being a police officer and was close to many of his co-workers. He took pride in his job and serving the City of Memphis. Francis'' favorite things were Pat and his girls, being by the water, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle on the open road. Francis is survived by his loving wife, Pat; daughters, Kirsten, Heather, Ashley, and Taylor; mother-in-law Olga Estrada; sisters-in-law and their spouses, brothers-in-laws and their spouses, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., with a memorial services to follow at 7 P.M., Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
