Michael Rene Ely, 48, passed away at his home on December 31, 2022. He was born on March 30, 1974 in Memphis, TN, to the parents of William Ely Jr. and Stella Ely-Green. Mr. Michael Ely graduated from Fairly High School in 1992. Upon graduation he enlisted in the military, where he served many years in the Army. Mr. Ely has always been very fond of music, whether that be listening to different genres of music or simply creating his own. Some of his other interests include antique cars, spending time with his family, and playing a good game of dominoes. He is preceded in death by his father William Ely Jr., his grandfather William Ely Sr, his grandmother Sadie L. McCraney, 4 cousins and 3 aunts. Mr. Ely is survived by one son, Jordan Michael Ely, his mother, Stella Green, brother William Ely III, sister Stacy Ann Ely, 5 nieces and nephews, 4 great nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Ely will truly be missed by those that loved him the most, his memory will forever live in our hearts!!
