Michael W. Lee, Sr. 76, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy Lee; two sons, Michael (Dena) and Chris; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lee began his career with the Memphis Police Department on March 4, 1968 and retired on January 1, 2006 as Deputy Chief after 37 years. He was a very dedicated servant to the citizens of Memphis and loved his job as a police officer. During his retirement, Mr. Lee continued to provide service to retired city employees as President of Association of City Retired Employees (ACRE).

He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a lifelong musician.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 14 and service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following.
