Michael "Mike" Roye Terrell, 57, of Nesbit, MS passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto. Mike was born in Memphis, TN, graduated from SBEC, and received his bachelor''s degree from Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. He was employed by CNH Capital of Racine, WI, having worked there for 21 years as a Corp. Auditor. He loved coaching recreational sports, which included softball, basketball, and had just begun refereeing volleyball in DeSoto County. Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda. He leaves his wife, Kimberly; two daughters: Allison and Emily; his parents, James William and Ellen Virginia Terrell; one sister, Jennifer M. Collard (Jerry) of Olive Branch, MS; one brother, Andy Terrell of Southaven; his aunt Edith Shackelford (Joe) of Olive Branch and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Getwell Road UMC on Monday, August 29, from 5-8 pm, with services held at 11am, also at Getwell Road UMC (7876 New Getwell Road, Southaven, MS). Graveside services will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR (2101 Pleasant Grove Rd, Jonesboro, AR) at 3:30 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
