Michael Dale Mills, born February 18, 1955 in Harrisburg, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Mills, his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Amy Mills, his maternal grandparents, Dill and Elsie Hammons, his brother-in-law, John Garey, his nephew, Corey Buffaloe, and his nephew's wife, Amber Buffaloe. 

He is survived by his wife, Susan Mills; his daughter, Valerie Mills (Kenneth Nuckolls); his mother, Bonnie Mills; his sisters, Anita Garey and Sandra Buffaloe (Russ Buffaloe); his brothers-in-law, Billy Olds and Robert Davenport, and other nieces and nephews. 

Mike was a Correctional Officer with the Department of Corrections for 30 years. He loved his family, coffee, his pets, and a great joke. He was a simple, stubborn, and humorous man for the entirety of his life. His family loves and misses him dearly.
