Michael Stefan Skow, aged 72, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Memphis, TN. Born on January 24, 1953, Michael, affectionately known as Viper Mike, was a cherished member of the Memphis community.

Michael's life was marked by his fervent involvement in local events and causes. He was a regular at concerts at the Botanical Gardens and an enthusiastic participant in the Memphis in May BBQ tournament and Italian Fest. His passion for cars was evident in his active membership in the Viper Club, where he shared his love for high-performance vehicles with fellow enthusiasts.

Professionally, Michael retired from Memphis Light, Gas and Water, where he dedicated many years of service, contributing significantly to the community's infrastructure.

Michael is survived by his son, Michael Cory Skow of Cordova, TN; stepdaughter, Stephanie Akin of Lowell, NC; sister, Cindy; and half-sister, Tracie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine McConnell; father, Harold Tex Skow; and stepfather, Charlie McConnell.
