Michael D Smith.  Born 6/9/62. Passed away on 12/31/21.

Looking back on Michael's life there's not a lot he didn't do. He loved baseball, the rodeo, and fishing. His favorite pastime was playing in Pickwick in his monster truck or driving his big-rig, that was his passion and he fought and struggled to do it for a long time. He fought a lot in his life here on earth, fighting demons that families fall apart from and people on the outside don't understand and our family sure had a tough time enduring. There are many times I can remember Mike clinging to the Lord, but I certainly remember him running from him too. None of us know what his final days on this earth were like, but I do know one thing, it is written in God's word that once we give Him our hearts he will never leave nor forsake us. So I choose to know Mike is home clinging to Nini and Pawpaw, rejoicing in the Lord-praising that his struggle here on earth is over.

Preceded in death. Grandparents,  Mom Elizabeth J. Smith and Dad Bobbie D. Smith of Eads, Tn. And wife Lorraine Smith of Eads, Tn.  Survived by Sister Wanda J. Wood of Oakland tn and son Cody Forrester Scott of Arlington.  Several aunts and uncles and cousins. Nieces and nephews.  Kristina D. Arendale and her children Hayley Arendale, Ashlyn Arendale and Syler Arendale of Arlington tn.  Andrea N. Vaccaro and her son Grayson Jones of Arlington. He's finally home!!

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 2pm at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
