Mildred Bennett went to be with our Lord on November 26, 2020.  She was born in Guntown, MS and lived 90 years.  She married her sweetheart, Lee Roy Bennett, on December 19,1946.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Knight Bolton her father, Walter Burt Knight  and grandson,

David Lee Bennett Jr.

Mildred is survived by her son David (Susan), grandsons Philip (Lisa) and John and nine great-grandchildren.

Mildred was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was always looking for ways to share the love of the Lord. She was a devoted wife, awesome mother, doting grandmother, dedicated great grandmother and a wonderful friend to many.

The family will gather to receive friends Thursday December 3rd at 1pm. The funeral service will follow at 2pm, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East Chapel.
