Mildred Lavern Campbell Bradford, 90, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Methodist Hospice Residence. She was born January 10, 1926 to Dewitt and Govie Campbell in Myrtle, MS. Lavern graduated from Macedonia High School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer E. Bradford and her daughter, Marsha Bradford. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hanna; Shelia Collins (Michael), Germantown; one sister, Bessie Mae Goode, Myrtle, MS; four grandsons, Bradford London of Bartlett; Carey Michael Collins of Germantown; Kent London of Indianapolis; Brett Collins of Memphis; one granddaughter, Angela Bricker (Bryon) of Cartersville, GA; ; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Lavern's name to Methodist Hospice Residence, 6416 Quince, Memphis, 38119 or the Baptist Trinity Hospice House, 1500 W. Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. Family and friends will gather to share memories 1-2 pm, Friday, followed by services at 2 pm. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East, 2440 Whitten Road.
