Mildred Watkins Hayes, 88, of Horn Lake, Mississippi passed away on July 2, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Ms. Hayes had worked as a waitress but mostly was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Othel Hayes; her son, William Hayes; granddaughter, Michelle Hayes; parents: Robert Lee and Icee A. Watkins; also 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She leaves her granddaughter, April Maness of Horn Lake and grandson, Richard Hayes of Coldwater; 7 great-grandchildren: Kacey Maness, Taylor White, Bailee Maness, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jordan and Rebecca Hayes; 5 great-great- grandchildren: Chloe and Cameron Lahnom, Madalyn, Matthew and Hayes. Ms. Hayes also leaves her sister, Marie Boston, of Olive Branch, MS. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday, July 6 with service to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
