Mildred M. Nabors, 88, of Bartlett, TN, passed away surrounded by love on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Mildred was a Christmas baby, she was born in Ripley, MS on December 25, 1935, to parents Roy and Jessie Adams. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Mildred was a member of Ellendale Church of Christ and she retired from Baptist Hospital East after working there for many years. She loved watching western films and she loved flowers but what she loved the most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren! Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband JC Nabors, her parents: Roy and Jessie Adams, a sister Carolyn Adams, a sister-in-law: Beverly Adams, as well as a daughter-in-law: Suzanne Nabors. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons: Jerry Nabors (Theresa) of Bartlett, TN, Mike Nabors (Cindy) of Brighton, TN, and Mark Nabors (Ruth) of Cherokee Village, Ark, her siblings: Joyce Stidham (Tom) of Bartlett, TN, Ron Adams of Wayne, Ohio, and Ken Adams (Karen) of Cordova, TN, her 9 grandchildren: Megan Scott (Darren), Desirae Sampley (Eddy), Katie Nabors, Tyler Wells (Tia), Naomi Herring, Mary Beth Wells, Cameron Nabors (Lindsey), Elizabeth Guinn (Robert), and Blake Nabors, as well as 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mildred will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.
