Mildred Lamb Schmitt, 98, of Adams, TN died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. She was a member of Red River Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School of many years. Mrs. Schmitt was preceded in death by her husbands, Douglas Lamb and Anthony Schmitt and her daughter, Glenda Lemons. Mrs. Schmitt is survived by her daughters, Janette Wright (John) of Mountain View, AR and Loretta Lamb of Columbia, TN; son, Gene Lamb of Midwest City, OK; grandchildren, Corey, Richard, Cathleen, Joanna, Karla, Dawn, and Hunter; and eight great-grandchildren and her sisters, Miriam Newman (John) of Gainesville, GA and Carol Dennis of Ennis, TX. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Friday, April 4, 2014 with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
