Mildred F. Woodward, of Cordova, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church, 8899 Trinity Rd, Cordova, TN with the Rev Jamie Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 2400 Whiten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133. Born in Chester County, SC on October 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C Faley and Margaret Shannon Faley. Survivors are her daughter, Dixon W Aldridge (Walter), daughter-in-law, Willann K Woodward; grandchildren, Shannon A Smith (Tommy), Graison A. Denman (John), Alison W Gonzales (Arthur), and W. Dixon Woodward (Erica); and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Andrew Dixon Woodward, two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 11, at Forest Hill Funeral Home.
