Milton L. Pittman of Bartlett, TN, passed away peacefully in his home on February 17, 2020 at the age of 79. A retired Captain of the Memphis Police Department, he was devoted to his family and career. He was a member of Crossroads Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Irene Pittman, and his brothers, Wayne Pittman and Billy Pittman. An avid basketball fan, Milton played in his younger years and enjoyed watching the sport in his later years. Milton is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Pittman, his daughters Angie Pittman Gaia (Keith, deceased) of Millington, TN, Kathy Brewer (Glen) of Atoka, TN, and his stepchildren Wes Vilcheck of Somerville, TN, Lesle Vilcheck Markle of Port Aransas, TX. Milton is also survived by his siblings; Aileen Pittman Marbry (Buddy, deceased) of Millington, TN, Helen Pittman Roberts (Roy) of Munford, TN, Wanda Sue Pittman Amores (Virgil, deceased) of California, Becky Pittman (sister-in-law) of Lakeland, TN, Don Pittman (Kathy) of Covington, TN, and Larry Pittman of Atoka, TN. Milton also had two wonderful grandchildren, Spencer D. Gaia and Caleb K. Gaia, whom he loved dearly. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
