Minnie "Aunt B." Blankenship, 88, of Memphis passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Minnie was a faithful servant of the Lord. She cared for children in the church nursery for over 40 years and touched many generations of families including caring for children at her home. Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Blankenship; one son, James Blankenship; her parents: James Samuel and Verdie O. McMahan and sister, Flora Dell McMahan. She leaves four children: Michael Blankenship (Shirley) of Horn Lake, MS, Charlotte Carver of Cordova, Mark Blankenship (Bobbi) of Southaven and Kelley Blankenship (Joyce) of New Iberia, LA.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 22 at Forest Hill South. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God, 8650 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
