Minnie Sue Davis (best known as Ms. Minnie) was born in Looxahoma. Mississippi on January 8, 1933. She passed away peacefully on September 10th, 2025, at the age of 92 in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Sue was a source of unwavering support, wisdom, and love for her children, grandchildren and countless friends. She was very active in her church, Mount Zion Baptist in Independence, Mississippi.

Sue will be missed by her 2 daughters Shirley Ison of Memphis, Tennessee and Peggy Conley (Daniel Conley) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and 3 brothers Harry Gordon (Kathy Gordon), Barry Gordon, Hernando, Mississippi and Donnie Gordon (Tammy Gordon) from Woodbine, Georgia and 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many other loved ones.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles Davis, her two daughters Audrey Booth, Jeanette Wade (Emmette Wade) and her siblings Thomas, Imogene, Billy, Guy, Sidney, Joe, Glynn and Jimmy. A private service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee to celebrate her life.
