Minnie Endicott (Tully) Endicott's Obituary
Minnie Tully Endicott, 93, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. She was a proud member of the Army during WWII. She is survived by her three children, Tully Endicott, Tula Endicott, and Patrick Endicott; by 4 grandchildren, Gene Endicott, David Endicott, Steven Endicott and Heather Endicott; and three great grandchildren, Lizzy Endicott, Doninique Endicott, and Serena Endicott. Per her instructions she will be cremated with burial at a later date in Arkansas.
She was the widow of Charles Eugene Endicott deceased August 2, 1966. She never remarried.
She served at the rank of Sergeant in the Women''s Army Corps of the United States Army stationed at Seattle, Washington during World War II. She was a member of the American Legion.
She was a graduate of the Forrest City Arkansas High School and a graduate of the State Technical Institute of Memphis (now the Memphis State Community College).
She had been very active member of the First United Methodist Church and the Forrest Hills United Methodist Church both of Forrest City, Arkansas where she served as board secretary, annual conference delegate, Sunday school teacher, MYF sponsor, WSCS president, and in other offices. She was a charter member of the Forrest Hills United Methodist Church (now the Victory United Methodist Church).
She was a Cub Scouts den leader for many years, and she was very active in the Forrest City High School Band Booster''s Club. She was an avid fan of professional baseball especially of the St. Louis Cardinals.
She was a devoted fan of Star Trek''s Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and a loyal member of the Memphis Star Trek Fan Association.
She was a fan of The Irish Tenors, because she was third generation Irish of the Tully family who founded the Anderson-Tully Lumber Company of Memphis.
She was actively involved in the raising of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved children, dogs, and cats, especially strays and rescues. Many a child, dog, and cat owe her much for her love and attention.
