Morgan "Glen" Savell ,85, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Highlands of Memphis. Mr. Savell retired prior to the computer age as a typewriter repair.man. He served his country in the United States Army, fighting in the Korean War. He received many medals for his service. Glen leaves 2 daughters: Glenda Savell West (Charles), Gina Marie Savell and one son, Michael Glen Savell; one sister, Faye Harrell ; two brothers, J.T. Savell and Billy Savell; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and a special friend Alene Mallet. The visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26 at Forest Hill East, with graveside service to follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
