Myrtle Stanley, 96, of Memphis, passed away on September 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Stanley and daughter, Carolyn. Mrs. Stanley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Margaret Stanley of Drummonds, TN; brother, Jessie Hendrix; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 10 and service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 11 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
