IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy Carol
Armstrong
March 21, 1942 – October 7, 2025
Nancy C. Beavers Armstrong was born on March 21, 1942, to David Cecil and Edith E. Beavers, and peacefully entered her eternal rest on October 7, 2025. She attended Messick High School and Draughon's Business College. Over the course of her 83 years, Nancy touched countless lives through her work at General Electric, SCB Computer Technology, and Central Church.
One of her other work endeavors included helping others decorate their homes to create a warm space with home decor or accessorizing themselves with the perfect piece of jewelry. She did this through the sale of House of Decorative Accessories (HODA) and Sarah Coventry Jewelry where she met and made many lifelong friends.
A devoted and longtime member of Central Church, Nancy's faith and service were central to her life. She never met a stranger and always looked for a way to connect with others.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, David Cecil and Edith E. Beavers. Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Coley Armstrong; her children: LeAnn Somborn (Chuck) of Bella Vista, AR; David Ford (Teri) of Rossville, TN; Chris Armstrong (Cathy) of Collierville, TN; and Mark Armstrong of Batesville, MS. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Alex Ballinger (Luke) and Robert Somborn (Jillianne) of Bella Vista, AR; Anderson and Jackson Ford of Rossville, TN; Kasey Armstrong (Kieth) of Trinidad, CO; Kristin Self (Garett) of Harrah, OK; Christopher Benakovich (Teddi) of Knoxville, TN; and Grayson Armstrong of Como, MS. She also leaves behind nine cherished great-grandchildren: Camden, Lauren, Jeanine, Luna, Jasmin, August, Walker, Jensen, and Milo.
We honor Nancy's life—a devoted mother, treasured friend, and radiant source of love. Her kindness and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Nancy had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She taught us the beauty of generosity, the dignity of hard work, and the enduring strength of love.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the wisdom she shared and the love she gave so freely. We will forever miss her loving guidance, her warm embrace, and her steadfast presence. With the assurance she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we are comforted we will see her again because of our shared faith in Him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or Margaret West Comprehensive Breast Center.
