NANCY RODGERS BOSTON, a resident of Tishomingo Manor Living Center, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2012. Nancy was born June 19, 1936 in Lancaster, SC, the first child of E. D. and Ruth Rodgers. She received her education in the Chattanooga, TN school system, graduating from City High in 1954. Nancy moved to Memphis, TN in the early sixties where she was employed by George B. Jones & Co. as office manager until December 1992. While working at George B. Jones & Co. Nancy met Ned Boston and they were married in June 1970. After moving to the Eastport area of Tishomingo County in December 1992 Nancy spent several years working as secretary for various attorneys and helping her husband in his accounting practice. She was also involved in the local Pilot Club and worked with the kitchen committee of Iuka Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ned P. Boston, one sister, Barbara Reeves (Bob) of Chattanooga, TN and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eddie Reeves, Robby Reeves, Ted Rawls, Cooper Rawls, John Jackson and Jerry Hodge. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 10 with visitation Sunday from 5-8 p.m. both at Forest Hill South. The service will be held by Dr. Walter William Jackson, nephew, and Reverend Raymond A. Boston, brother-in-law, of the deceased. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a memorial be given to either the Alzheimer''s Association or the building fund of Iuka Baptist Church.
