Nancy P. Dixon, passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 85 in Southaven, Mississippi.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 68 years, George Dixon; two daughters, Catherine (Roger) Smith, Virginia (Mark) Mougin; one son, David Dixon; six grandchildren, John (Dancy) Gilbreath, Stephanie (Larry) Smith, Steven (Stacy) Gilbreath, David (Leigh Anne) Dixon, Jr., Matthew Morgan and Heather (Brian) Wallis; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in passing by her parents, Irving and Loretta Petherbridge; her siblings, Carol Brunner and Robert Petherbridge; and one great grandson, Patrick Dixon.

Nancy was a woman that wore many hats. Her time was spent creating special memories with those she loved, and she was loved back. Not only was she a truck driver, and a member of The Red Hat Club, she made time to help with the Masonic and Shriners with George. Her mastery for cooking was expressed by those across Horn Lake with her cakes, potato salad, and don't forget the fruit cake, especially. Nancy loved going on cruises, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her family. Of the many jobs/hobbies she's had, homemaker was the ultimate highlight of her life. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family. Her authenticity, adventurous, and loving ways will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
