Nancy Sue Dollar, age 77, went home to be with her Lord on January 1, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1940 in Memphis, TN to Waymon and Betty Sue (McKinney) Webb. She was the oldest of 4 siblings. She was a 1958 graduate of Southside High School. She married James Dollar in 1959 and had tow loving children, Lynne (Dollar) Wilkins and James Dollar, Jr. They later divorced, and she became a single a single-mom raising two children while working a full-time job to support her family. She grew stronger in her faith with notable periods at Holiday Press and a 25-year career with the Shelby County Government working with the Printing Services and Code Enforcement. She was a 19-year volunteer on the Earth Team with the USDA/NRCS. She loved working with children by teaching preschool childcare at GBC. She was also a Wedding Coordinator for many couples as well as a Funeral Coordinator for Germantown Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lynne, and son, Jim; brothers Robert Webb and Richard Boals; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers family and friends may give memorials to Germantown Baptist Church.
