Nancy Richie passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and selfless care for her family. She was born on January 7, 1951, to the late Glen and Ethelene Maxcy. 

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Janice Gail Riddick and her nephew, D. Steven Riddick. 

She is survived by her beloved spouse, William Alfred Richie Jr. and her cherished nephew and niece: Chris Riddick and Mitzi Riddick, Great Nieces and Nephews: Patrick Riddick (wife Rachel Riddick), Amanda Riddick, Hunter Riddick (wife Maddison Riddick) and Haley Riddick. She also leaves behind several great-great-nephews and nieces, with many other loving family members and friends.

Nancy dedicated many years to the Memphis ISD as the Director of Budget and Finance. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment throughout her career. 

She will be greatly missed.
