Nancy G. Russell, 56, of Memphis, TN, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. She was a friend, inspiration to the community, retired MCS employee, an author, and a daughter but most importantly, a mother. She leaves behind her mother, Naomi Russell; two daughters, Anitra Russell-Bridgemon (Tony) and Tanisa Hill; five grandchildren, Kenitria Swing, Tiana Bridgemon, Lance Stone, Tony Bridgemon Jr. (TJ), and Lynde Stone; five siblings, Sandra Scott (Wayne), Frederick Stewart, James Russell, Tony Russell, and Victor Russell, step-sister, Bertha Jones-Cole, and a host of other relatives. She will always be remembered for her love and compassion for her friends, family, and most importantly, her love and faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 with services to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Greater Community Temple Church on Winchester. Interment will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
