NANCY MONTESI THURMAN, 82, of Lakeland TN, beloved Mother and Gramma passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 at home. She was born July 4, 1941 to Andi Lois and Ernest J. Hays. She was a homemaker, retired merchandiser for the grocery industry and worked with her children in their grocery store, Montesi's Supermarket. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 35 years Charles Thurman. She also leaves her children: Maria Montesi Barlow (Bobby), Ernest J. Montesi (Mary), Patricia Montesi Veglio (Charles), Angie Thurman Rice, April Sunshine Pitts (Sean). She also leaves her grandchildren: Robert, Ben, Stephanie, Megan, Jessica, Erika, Nick, Brooke, Alex, Preston and Ethan. Great grandchildren Dreyton and Maverick. She also leaves David Bailey who she loved as a son and her
dog Ecko. Any memorial can be sent to Methodist Hospice or St. Jude's Children's hospital.
