Nannie Sue Pitt. 87, of Water Valley, MS and formerly of Memphis, passed away on March 6, 2015. She retired from Baptist Hospital and enjoyed sewing, and needle work. Mrs. Pitt was preceded in death by her husband Glenn "Papa" Pitt; and three bothers. She is survived by her daughter, Sydney (Bubba) Smith; granddaughter, Kim (Chris) Hester, grandson, Jamie (Chasidy) Smith; great grandchildren, Avery Nunn, Samantha, Mallory, and Ashton Smith. Visitation will be 12 p.m. Thursday, March 12 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Alzheimer's Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
