Nathan Chelsea Baker, Sr., 88, passed away on September 20, 2017 at his home in Horn Lake, MS. Mr. Baker was a US Army Veteran and a member of the FreeMason Lodge #617 and was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. He is survived by his son Nathan C. Baker, Jr. (Pam) of Horn Lake and daughters Patricia B. Glover of Horn Lake and Grace Ann Bailey (Mike) of South Carolina; 4 grandchildren: Cayce Mitchell, Heather Baker, Natalie Powell, Erica Edwards; and 12 great grandchildren. Mr. Baker, Sr. was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Bernice L. Baker; a daughter, Katherine Nelson; and one grand daughter, Mandy W. Baker. Services will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South on Holmes Road, Friday, September 22, 2017. Visitation with family will be from 11:30-1:00 p.m. with service following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colonial Hills Church of Southaven, MS.
