Nell Pilgrim Borland, age 92, died peacefully in Irving, Texas on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born December 29,1923 in Monte Vista, Colorado, Nell is survived by her two sons and their spouses Jeff and Polly Borland, Winston and Elaine Borland; and her two nephews, Walter (Suzanne) Allen and Buddy Lear; niece Kathy (Mike) Blyn; her 6 grandchildren, Zach Borland, Mary (Tyler) Boone, Anna Borland, Jason Jones, Wray (Kara) Borland and Haley Borland. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Borland and Johnny Pilgrim; and her siblings, Buck Lear, Buddy Lear, Syble Allen, Mary Watkins, and Janette Lear; and nephew, Dewey Lear. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, 2545 E. Holmes, Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Jude.
