Nicholas Jeremy Smith, 34, passed away at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, TN on October 9, 2021.  Mr. Smith served as a firefighter with the City of Munford - Fire Department from 2015 - 2021 and as an AEMT with Baptist Regional Ambulance Service in Tipton County.  He was preceded in death by his mother Paula Moultrie Smith.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving fiancé, Brooke Ballard and his daughter Laynah Marie Smith. Mr. Smith leaves his father Mark William Smith of Millington, TN; one brother Christopher (Cheyanne) Smith of Memphis, TN; one sister Kristen (Carlton) Hughes and nephew, Hunter, of Atoka, TN.  Visitation with his family will be on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am with services following at 10:00 am at Forest Hill Home & Memorial Park - East, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN. 901-382-1000
