Nina Sue Grandi, Memphis, TN, Age 90, passed away on October 18, 2015 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was born on August 29, 1925. She was a member of Cherry Road Baptist Church, retired from Memphis City Schools where she worked for many years. She loved the little ones. Mrs. Grandi was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Grandi, her parents, Chess and Allie Austin, her brothers, Earlis and Cecil Austin, and by her sister, Vernell Sawyer. She leaves her children, Donald Grandi (Christy) of Hernando, MS, and Carolyn Johnson (Robert) of Collierville, TN.; four grandchildren, Carrah, Robby, Matt and Sam; and three great-grandsons, Max, Grant and Austin. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, from 12-2 p.m. directly followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East on Whitten Road.
