Nina Mae Summer, 90, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord Monday, March 27, 2017. Mrs. Summer was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Kaye LeMar; great-granddaughter, Lila Kaye Sigfried; two brothers, John and Beaty Williams; and one sister, Estel Sanders. She is survived by her husband of 67 years whom she loved fiercely, Harry Summer; daughters: Anne LeMar (Keith) and Alice Clinton (Rosser); seven grandchildren: Kevin LeMar, Claire Martin, Phillip LeMar, Catherine Clinton, Ike Clinton, Karen Sigfried, and Stephen LeMar; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ira Tacker. Mrs. Summer was a caring and loving lady who was passionate about making sure everyone she knew was taken care of; especially her special needs granddaughter, Sarah. She loved doing yard work and taking care of her flowers. Mrs. Summer was a longtime member of Germantown Church of Christ until she moved to Murfreesboro, TN where she attended Kingwood Church of Christ. A visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.
