Nolen W. Cleaves, 89, of Bartlett,TN, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2012. He was a well-known successful businessman in the Bartlett community for 25 years. Mr. Cleaves was the retired owner and operator of Cleaves Auto Parts, a Shriner, and a member of the Bartlett Masonic Lodge. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp, and was a member of Bartlett Baptist Church for over 40 years. Mr. Cleaves is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mary Nell Phillips Cleaves of Bartlett; son, Tommy Cleaves of Cordova; daughter, Bonnie Cleaves Dumas (Bill) of Mountain View, AR; four grandchildren, Leslie Cleaves Kuntzman (Robert) of Eads, Jenny Cleaves Marshall (Craig) of Lakeland, Chrissy Cleaves Starratt (Chas) of Memphis, Tony Cleaves (Nichole) of Edmond, OK; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son, Jessie "Butch" Cleaves. Visitation will be at 12 noon Tuesday, November 13 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
