Odis Willis Humphreys, Jr., 90, died Sunday, April 29, 2012. He retired as President of Corporate Air, Inc., a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and a past member of the Optimist Club. Mr. Humphreys is survived by his wife of 68 years, Opal Humphreys; daughters, Linda Floyd (John) of Cordova, TN, Jeanne Boyd of Lakeland, TN; and son, Charles Humphreys of Bartlett, TN; sisters, Kathy Childress (John) of Clinton, TN, Helen Eaton (Jim) of Cherryville, NC; grandchildren, Lauren Melton, Ben Humphreys, Kevin Floyd, and Kristi Bush; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Declan, Caroline, Allison, and Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, at the funeral home with interment to follow in Eureka United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gates, TN.
