Mrs. Olive Elizabeth McClain "Grama", age 100, of Memphis, TN, passed away May 28th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.  Born August 4, 1020 in Richmond, Virginia, Mrs. Olive lived a long, bright life and was devoted to family.  She was hardworking, independent, strong and loved her family and friends deeply.  She was a great listener and was a joy to be around.  She took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and always looked forward to hearing updates in their lives.  She had a continuous love for God, nature, and could not live without chocolate and ice cream.   Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: daughter, Delores J. Bailey; son, Gary C. McClain; and daughter-in-law, Kathi K. McClain; grandchildren, Kristine M. Bedsole; Kristopher C. McClain; Melanie M. Smith and husband, Jeffrey B. Smith, and Victoria McClain; great grandchildren, Baily E. Bedsole, Kristopher M. McClain, Michael  X. Bedsole, Michael X. Bedsole, Micheala F. McClain, Elizabeth M. Smith, Tyler P. Smith and Olivia G. Smith.   Family and friends will gather to celebrate "Grama's" life, Thursday, 5-7 pm, June 3rd, 2021.   A graveside service will held 2:00 pm, Friday, June 4th, 2021.  Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown.    In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Memphis Animal Service.
