Olivia "Jean" Austin , 73, passed away on August 26, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital.

Jean was born on August 20, 1945 in Grenada, MS.  She is survived by; daughters; Penny Peeples, Amy Carr-Turnpaugh (Ron); a son, Doug Austin all of Memphis; brother, George Johnson of West Memphis and sister, Mae DeShields of Memphis as well as a host of extended family and friends.  Jean was a devoted and loving mother and will be missed by all that knew her.  A visitation will be held from 5-6 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 pm on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park - East.
