Ollie S. Thomas III (Sonny), age 68, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016. He was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren and to all his friends at AOC in Collierville, TN from where he retired in 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Lucille Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Joyce of Gulf Shores, AL; children: Brandon Thomas (Nikki) of Southaven, MS, Brian Thomas (Kristy) of Daphne, AL, Leigh Anne Thomas of Gulf Shores, AL, Lisa Stewart (Jason) of Hernando, MS, Lacy Walker (Trey) of Hernando, MS, and Lillian Travis (Sean) of Daphne, AL; grandchildren: Owen, Ian, and Anna Reese Thomas; Landon and Peyton Thomas; Blayne and Savana Stewart; Dylan, Laiken, Jack, and Brynley Walker; Hayden, Abigail, and Emmaline Travis. He is also survived by his brother, Mac Thomas and his sisters, Joy Gideon, Kay Nunnally, Sue Thomas, and Kathy Harvey. A visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Sunday February 28, 2016 with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 pm. Prime Time Catering will be providing a catfish dinner immediately following the memorial service for all guests in attendance. All services and catering will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
