Omega Jenkins, 82, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022. She leaves behind her husband, Harvey Jenkins; one daughter, Mary Beth Morris (Patrick); two granddaughters, Abby Morris and Haley Morris; and two sisters, Deanna Welch and Sherry Causey. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Ovilla Dean; and two sisters, Barbara Tippitt and Anna Beth Gordon.

Omega was a Christian woman and a longtime member of Ellendale Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoyed cooking for others, quilting, and spending time with family and friends, especially her two granddaughters who she loved dearly. Omega also loved being outdoors, tending to her well-known garden and going to Pickwick Lake where she could fish hours on end.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m. with funeral services starting at 10:00a.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
