Opal "Faye" Lamar Wood, 90, of Memphis, TN passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife, Faye loved flowers, gardening and spending time with her family. Faye was a member of Charjean Baptist Church in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Lamar, and James Wood ; also one sister and one brother. She leaves four children: Diane Cooper, Lynn Joslin, Janice Tomblin, Paul Wayne Lamar and wife Rose; 7 grandchildren; Nicole, Michelle, Josh, Stephanie, Jessica, Lesley, Brittany and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Forest Hill South with service at 2 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 . Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
